In much need of some rest Kenshin has stopped being a rurouni, putting down his sword. And his name as a Rurouni. He rests at the Kamiya dojo, living with Kaoru and Yahiko. Everything seemed find for the most part. Sanosuke had written many letters to Megumi telling her about his adventures as a wanderer. Yahiko has earned Kenshin's Sakabatou as it was time for him to protect his own generation. Still, there was nothing to protect as the town was in peace. But, one could never be quite sure...

Three years after that though Sanosuke had stopped writing letters to Megumi and disappeared. No one knew why though. Kenshin hearing about this was worried just like everyone else. Soon though Sanosuke was discovered hiding with his friend as he had something to tell the group. Luckily the police didn't discover him yet and he told Kenshin about a man. Apparently it was someone who knew about Kenshin being the Battousai. It stated that the person would slowly force Kenshin into becoming Battousai again. No one understood what the letter meant though.

A month after that Himura Kenji, Kenshin and Kaoru's son was kidnapped. No one knew how or why. During that day Kenshin and Kaoru were out visiting leaving their son with Yahiko. When they returned they found that Yahiko had lost to the person and barely remembers anything about the person. The only thing he remembered was that it was a man. Worried Yahiko gave Kenshin back his sword, knowing that he would need it to get his son back. Now Kenshin has become worried about what the person will do next, and decided to look for the person. On his own... He did not want to involve Kaoru, knowing how it would affect her.. Though, Sanosuke decided to gather more information and Yahiko continued his training at the dojo with Kaoru...

Three weeks after that incident Saitou had decided to came back to Japan and is trying to solve the case, about Kenshin and Kaoru's son being kidnapped. Still he is working alone but is willing to give Kenshin whatever information he needs. Words about it though spread quickly as everyone thought that the time of peace has finally came. Now, would war and battle come again? To a world that only wanted peace.. Quickly the news came to Kyoto and the Oniwabanshu heard of it. Hearing about it Aoshi and Misao decided to help to try and find Himura Kenji, by trying to get information about the man and Kenji's whereabout. Slowly the group is getting back together and Sanosuke was allowed to stay in Japan in order to help the police solve the case....

... But will they be able to find Kenshin and Kaoru's son?... Himura Kenji?...

Will war come again? We could only hope not...
